Were Moving!!

No this isn't a post to let you know I'm going private we are really moving! This has been a lot of our craziness going on lately things have been really quick but in Aug. we started talking about moving, then in Oct. it was official we decided it was right for us and we were going to do it. We told our families conference weekend but things needed to be on the D.L. with the snap-on business but we are leaving in about 5 or 6 weeks so I think it's ok to tell now. CJ will be officially done with snap-on on Jan. 16th, so crazy he has been doing this for 10 years! Ever since he got home from his mission this has been his job so it's going to be weird doing something else. We have sold almost everything and will pack up and drive our motor home cross country to Florida! Yes that's right we are moving to a small town called Okeechobee Florida. The name even sounds redneck huh! I am super excited, sad, nervous, and very emotional about this change I have never moved more than a few miles away my whole life so this is so out of my comfort zone. But I guess I'm ready for a new adventure my family is still young enough that they are o.k with it and we plan on coming back in 3 or 4 years so it's not permanent. I love Florida and am excited to be so close to the ocean and try something new, but I've never lived away from family and I'm super sad about that I have really enjoyed having both our families right here close to us. So I am going to try to update my blog a lot more so I can keep my family posted on things going on with my family Ready or not here we come!

I can't believe he's 8

So it's been forever since I've posted anything. Things have been really busy and super crazy around here! So Dec.3rd Jaeden got baptised I can't believe how fast these 8 yrs. have gone by. I remember when he was a baby some friends of ours had a daughter getting baptised I thought wow you know your getting old when you have a child old enough for that... Well here I am and yes I feel super old! It was such an awesome day though we had a lot of friends and family at his baptism I think about 70 or so. CJ baptised and confirmed him it's really neat watching my little boy grow up even though that means I'm groing up too! Jaeden I am so proud of your decision! We love you so much!!!

My 28th in Lake Powell

So I know it's been forever since I have posted. Things have been so busy around here, but I decided I'd better post these things or I never will. So for my Birthday my husband took me to Lake Powell. It was just our own little family. We had such a great time we got a new boat a week or two before we went so we were super excited to take it out. The first day was absolutely beautiful, we took a nice day trip out to dangling rope and to the marina's well we decided to head back and it was a good idea because on our way to the marina we were driving back in huge waves, then it started raining. Right as we hit the marina there was a down pour for about 30 min. The next day we went fishing for a little bit, we suck at fishing but I really like it. I guess I was lucky because I caught the only fish yeah! Thanks to everyone that called or text me to wish me a Happy Birthday I had so many, and it made me feel so special on my Birthday! Thanks CJ, Jaeden, Avery, and Treyson I had a great time I love you guys!

Poor Boy

Last week we had a little incident where Treyson got pushed off the bunk bed ladder. He cried about his arm hurting, but could move it and do things with it so we figured it was just sore and he would be o.k. Well a week later he was still complaining of his arm so I took him in on Thursday. Yep it was fractured, I felt so bad for him. So he now gets to rock this cute little cast for 3 weeks!

So my kids last weekend realised all their for fun money was getting pretty low, and this is what I came out to on Saturday. The funny thing is I told them they wouldn't make any money, because we don't live on a busy street. Well they proved me wrong... about $10 later they figured they had enough for fun money for the week! So embarrassing!! The joys of having a child that can write on his own. (even if it isn't spelled the correct way) The funny thing is I told them they couldn't charge 50 cents for little candies, and Jaeden said yes mom it was $50 but dad said that was to much.

I got the chance a couple weeks ago to go with Jaeden's first grade class on their field trip to Snow Canyon Park. I asked Jaeden if it was o.k. if I went with him because at the first of the year they went on a field trip to a play, and he did not want me to go with him. :( sad huh! Well this time he was o.k. with me going. I really had a great time having that time with just me and him. I get that with the other two kids a lot more because they aren't at school all day. Thanks Jaeden for a fun time! Can't wait to do the swimming field trip in May!

So, for a long time now I have wanted to run a race. So about a month or so ago I signed up for the biggest loser 5K. I love the show, and there was going to be contestants from previous seasons running the race. So today was the big day. I was so nervous all morning long just thinking about running this thing, I am not sure why. I knew I could finish it, and I wasn't trying to win because I knew I would never be one of the first 3. But I just wanted to finish it with a time I would be happy with. I went into the race shooting for a 30 min. flat and I finished it in 30 min. and 3 sec. I was a little sad, because I really wanted to get a little under but I guess it's o.k. I technically haven't ran since high school cross country. (and the only reason I joined that was because it was a co-ed sport, and I loved the idea of bus rides with hot boys!!) Just being totally honest. But I am glad I did it I had a lot of fun it was really cold, and I don't think my body ever warmed up but I still had a blast. It was also fun because my friend Josie ran it too. So it was nice having someone I knew with me!

New Year 2011

So we were still in Florida for New Years so we went to dinner with some friends of ours and then headed back to our hotel for a party they were having there. It was pretty lame but oh well it was free. My kids loved it though they met some new friends, and just had a great time playing around, getting their face/body painted, and they had a magician. CJ and I stayed up all night because we flew out that morning at 5:30 so we figured it wouldn't do any good trying to sleep a couple hours. Man were we tired on our flight home. Happy New Year!

I can't believe it!! My husband has dreaded this day ever since I can remember. He felt like he really was old and there was no turning back when he hit 30. So this year we decided as a family that we have way to many toys, and more clothes than most kids need. So we asked our kids if they wanted to write a letter to Santa and tell him to take all our presents to kids that really need them, and we are headed to Florida for Christmas this year! We are so excited if you don't know, we love Florida and try to make it there as much as possible. This will make it 3 times this year for CJ and I, and twice this year for my kids. We have some really great friends down there CJ met on his mission that we consider family. So I hope the weather will be nice for us down there. We are going to do something new this time and drive to Miami which we have never been to yet, I am super excited! We are definitely going to miss our families here but just felt like it would be a good opportunity for my kids to see something else besides presents this year. We will take lots of pictures to post when we get back we will leave Christmas Day and come back New Years Day!!

Today my not so little anymore Jaeden turned 7! Yes I can't believe it myself that I have a seven year old. It seems so crazy to me that 7 years ago I woke up, and told CJ I think he needed to stay home. Well at 8 a.m. I got sent home and decided to walk to my sisters house that was a few blocks away Yeah I didn't make it there, my friend Holly had to come pick us up and take me there while CJ got the car. By the time I got to the hospital, I was shuffling my way in and bawling my eyes out, especially when they told me all the rooms were full including the triage ones, so I would need to wait in the waiting room. I looked at that nurse and said I came in at 8 a.m. this morning and left at a 4 I have been having contractions for 4 hrs. at 3 min. apart and I needed a room. I think she knew I was serious! They got me right in and I was a 7 my baby was born that night around 7p.m. weighing 7lb. 10oz. This 7 thing must have meant good luck or something because I have been the luckiest mom to have this sweet, crazy, loving little boy in my life for 7 yrs. now. Jaeden we love you sooo much and couldn't imagine our life's without you especially since he was born on our 9 month anniversary we didn't have much time to imagine it without him. But I wouldn't trade it for anything! He may be crazy and wild at times but the sweet little things this special boy does makes me forget those things. Just a little thing for me to remember, tonight I went to drop CJ off at my brothers to pick up our motor home. We get there and of course the kids want to drive with dad in the motor home so they both jump out, and Treyson starts crying because he wants to go too. So I get him out take him around to get in, and Avery and Treyson are in the motor home CJ asks me where Jaeden was. I said I'm not sure so I went around to the car and there he was sitting in my car all buckled up again. I opened the door and asked him what he was doing. He looked at me and said I don't want you to have to drive by yourself. I broke down in tears, it's the little things like that this little boy does that just makes me so proud of him! If I could remember to be like that more often I would be a much better person. I am blessed to have this sweet child as my son and love him so much! Happy Birthday Jaeden we love you!!

It was such a special birthday that year we had done a FHE lesson on Jesus and Christmas being his birthday and how cool it was that for his birthday everyone else gets presents, Well that year he told us he wanted to be more like Jesus and wanted to give everyone else presents on his birthday! So we let him pick gifts out for everyone and wrap them, it was so amazing watching this little boy with this huge heart give instead of receive presents on his birthday. Not very many 6 yr. old kids would come up with this idea on their own. I tell you he is something special!

Halloween 2010

This year CJ and I told our kids we were going to dress up as each other for Halloween. Well it came down to that night and I said you need to find some of my clothes that fit you so you can be me, CJ thought he was going to back out of the whole thing. I told him there was no way he could do that we had told our kids for a month or so we were going to dress up so after a few minute of talking him into he finally agreed. I went to work trying to make him look the best I could with what we had since we didn't buy anything for it. I have to say seeing the kids face when we walked out of our bedroom was priceless. Especially Treyson it was so funny he had this puzzled look on his face and said mommy daddy, and then laughed, It was so cute. The kids went all over to our friends and family, and got spoiled with lots of candy. It was such a fun year trick-or-treating. It was really funny because our neighbors wouldn't realize it was us until we started talking, or they sat and stared at us long enough. We stopped by Carls Jr. for dinner and went through the drive through, you should have seen the girl working the window she was trying so hard not to laugh until I made a comment, then she laughed and had to have everyone that was working come and see how funny CJ looked. Lets just say I'm super glad he is a man and not a woman!

Dad's homemade pancakes (Halloween style)

So I gave my sister a little bit of a hard time this last week when she called me to tell me of these pumpkin rolls that she had made. I'm not talking about the yummy cream cheese filled ones I'm talking about a roll colored orange, and a green top. I told her wow you have way to much time on your hands. Well after I thought about it for a while I thought of the breakfasts my dad had made for us as kids. Just the little things like smiley face pancakes, or mickey mouse pancakes, or food coloring in our oatmeal. Silly little extra time consuming things that as a kid were the best most amazing breakfasts ever. So I thought why not? Why not take the few extra minutes to make my kids day that much more special. Today was my kids Halloween parade, so I woke up a few minutes early to make my dads buttermilk pancakes with a Halloween twist. I think they turned out pretty cute they not only made my kids smile, but I couldn't help but smile at what I had done for them and how happy they were. Now I thank my dad for the few extra minutes he spent on us kids to make our breakfasts special. Happy Halloween!!

Panguitch weekend

CJ took Friday off so we could go up to Panguitch as a family. My mom and aunt Melanie came up Thursday night, and on Friday morning CJ took the kids up hunting while we cleaned out my grandma's storage room in her basement. It was a lot of work but so worth it when it was all done, and we had a good time doing it. My family also had a great time playing in the mountains. They of course didn't see anything, I didn't think they would especially with my 3 kids going along. Other then that we spent a lot of time relaxing, watching movies, and hanging out. A well needed break from everything. This is a new face Treyson has started doing it was so funny we were getting kids ready for bed and he kept doing this face. We were laughing at him and he just kept doing it over and over again. Silly boy I just love my kids so much!

School Time (I know I'm late)

I think I am always late at posting things. I'm just not a great blogger. But I really wanted to have pictures to remember their first days of school it wasn't the same days but I guess that the good thing about being late is I can post them together! They were both really excited to start school and are loving their teachers. I'm really glad they have made some good friends already this year. I can't believe I have two kids in school already!

We took our boat out to let the kids go tubing. It was so much fun we even let Tinkerbell come along on our boating trip. We have had such a great summer at the lake. We sure are going to be sad when it's to cold to go anymore. I didn't get pictures of C.J. but he told me I couldn't get him off the tube, well I showed him. I would floor the boat and then all of a sudden turn. The tube would be clear up on its side. The rope actually broke, and he went rolling over the water it was so funny I wish I could have taken pictures and drove the boat at the same time!

Lake Powell 2010

So it has been 2 yrs since we got to go to Lake Powell. Last year when CJ's family went Jaeden had a broken hand, and Treyson was just little so we decided it would be easier to just skip out that year. Well we were really excited that we got to go this year because a couple weeks before CJ picked up a little boat he worked so hard on it so we could take it. We had such a great time and the weather was perfect nice and warm during the days and it would rain at night so it cooled off enough to make sleeping nice. Thanks Somerville family and all of our other friends that came, and made our trip so much fun! Can't wait until next year...

Our girlies!

So I have been really bad at keeping up on my blog, so I thought better late then never. A few weeks ago we went camping with some friends of ours we just made a quick trip out to Warner Valley in the morning we woke up and let the kids ride around on their bikes. Then the dad's decided it was their turn, and thought they had to race around. It was funny watching them they reminded me of the big bears on the little bikes at the circus! Thanks Matt & Aimee we had so much fun hanging out hope to do it again, maybe when it's not quite so hot!

So I feel bad I didn't get this posted yesterday, but I wanted to make sure I still did it just so I can let C.J. know what an amazing father he is! C.J. has always been awesome with kids, my nephews and his niece loved uncle C.J. so I knew that my kids would feel the same way about their dad. He was great the second Jaeden was born, I don't think I ever changed one diaper of any of our kids in the hospital, he was always so willing to just jump right in and do it. He takes such good care of our family and makes sure we are taken care of before himself. My kids are always excited when dad comes home because he is the one that loves to wrestle around and play with them. (He still acts like a kid himself, it's no wonder they love him) But I want to tell him how thankful I am for all he does for us, we love him sooo much and I am truly blessed to have married such a wonderful man! Happy Fathers day C.J., hope you had a great one we love you!!

Papa's Beach'N Boat

So this year for Fathers Day we decided that for CJ's dad we were going to finish his boat in his back yard that he burried ohh 8yrs. ago for a playground for the grandkids. So all of the kids came over and we started working from 10:30 a.m. until about 8:30p.m. We had gravel brought in skrewed up the peices on the boat that were falling apart, ripped out the cushions to wash, and cleaned it all up. I have to admit the whole time I was wondering what we had gotten ourselves into. In the back of the boat the floor had two big holes where the motors used to be. We cut a board out to cover the holes, and covered it with a shower curtain modge podged it on (or hodge podge if you ask Crystal :) It looks like a glass bottom boat scene it turned out great! Well Jae showed up around 8:30 and the look on his face made the whole day of grueling work all worth it! If you know my father in law he has many toys, and is really hard to buy for so we thought this would be a great gift that money can't buy. We named the boat Papa's Beach'N Boat because it sounds like something he would say! I had a great time with everyone, even if it was work Happy early Fathers Day Jae we love you so much!

Clearwater Beach

Our final beach we went to was Clearwater Beach. My brother-in-law went to this area on his mission and he told me this was his favorite beach, so we had to give it a try. Well it was really busy and there was a lot of little beach shops along the way the water was nice and Treyson loved the sand. The kids loved this boat that looked like a pirate ship, and there was the most amazing ice cream shop ever it's called coneheads and it has this soft serve ice cream with a flavor blast you pick up to 3 flavors and it swirls them in and man oh man was it Yummy! I'm not even a huge ice cream fan and I enjoyed it, so if your ever on the west coast of Florida you should give it a try!

The World's most unique McDonalds

We went to a huge McDonald's in Orlando it is the most unique McDonald's, I actually saw it on a TV show that was showing different McDonald's. This McDonald's has the biggest play place it's like a huge arcade upstairs the kids had a blast playing all over the toys. Treyson had fun in the toddler play area climbing all over the frog and crawling through the tunnel.

I wanted to finish up our Florida trip before CJ and I go back in Aug. so this day we went to Lake Apopka I really wanted to see an alligator before we left so CJ told me at this lake he always saw gators, when we got there a peacock was walking around, the kids thought it would be funny to chase him, CJ thought it would be funny taking pictures of it! After the kids got tired of not catching it we walked down to the lake. Sure enough there were alligators you could hear them in the weeds and see them in the water, in the middle of the lake was a 12-15 ft. one, the ranger that was there told us that one has been there for a while. It was kind of creepy feeling listening to them all around and being that close, but it was cool to get to see them in the wild.

So today Cj and I got to go down with his friend Steve to pick up a UFC hummer from Randy Couture. Well if you know our family, we are huge UFC fans, and Randy is one of CJ's favorite fighters. So when Steve asked if CJ wanted to go help pick it up at his house, he was stoked! I asked CJ if Steve would let me tag along and he said that would be fine, so I also got to go. So we headed down around 10:00 this morning and I guess we were just going to do a quick grab the hummer, and drive back trip. Well Steve accidentally started the hummer and shut the door locking the keys in it! So I called a locksmith and got one coming as soon as they could get there, long story short Steve had to get back to his dogs, so me and CJ got to stick around and drive the hummer home. Randy was getting ready to go train and said if I needed anything to give him a call, and he gave me his cell phone number!! Then he said go ahead inside while you wait there's some people in there but make yourself at home. We walked in to Karo Parisyan another fighter, and a guy named Jay Glazer a sports broadcaster, and the host of Pros vs Joe he is also a business partner with Randy. We went in got to hang out with Karo and Jay made Karo some easy mac and cheese snacked out on Randy's food and then went to grab some lunch with them at McDonalds. They were super nice, and we had a great time!!

So the next beach was Cocoa Beach we went to a restaurant right on the beach then headed down to hang out and have some fun. We rented a body board so the kids could play in the ocean we had a blast on it!

So the next beach we hit up was Daytona it is fun because you can drive your car right on the beach. The kids had tons of fun playing in the waves. Treyson had fun chasing the birds, and

So after we got to Florida we were all so exhausted we grabbed some dinner checked into our hotel and went to bed. We woke up super early Sunday morning, CJ wanted to take us 2 hours away to go to church at a branch in a little town called Okeechobee. I had never been to a branch, and have lived in Utah my whole life well we walk in to be welcomed by 3 people who are asking us ?'s like where were from were we just visiting, and then having me write all our names down so they could introduce us in sacrament meeting. When CJ told them who he was most of them remembered him he had served there about 9 yrs ago on his mission. There was probably only 15 people there including us, the introduced us all by name, and my kids were the loudest ones there, I think were used to being drowned out by 30 other kids in our ward! I have to say it was an amazing experience to go to something like that, the people there were so sweet. I love the people in the church outside of Utah they just have this amazing spirit I don't know how to explain it, they are just so real! So we left after sacrament to head over to the west coast. CJ forgot my camera and I was soo sad because I really wanted pictures of this day. We drove about another 2 hrs. until we hit Sarasota FL. we went to Lido beach, met up with some of our friends there, had an amazing buffet with shrimp, prime rib, just tons of yummy amazing food our few was on like the 19th floor looking right over the Gulf Coast it was awesome! After lunch our family headed to the beach. It was the nicest beach I have ever been to. The water felt like a warm bath tub, we played for hours then went back to the hotel and swam in the pool until the sun sat it was the best mothers day ever!! Thank you Ivan and sis. P and CJ I loved it so much!!

Florida 2010

So my computer was broke for a while and I couldn't blog these any sooner hopefully I can remember what all the pictures are. We left for LV to fly out on Friday evening our flight was to fly out at 1:00 a.m. well the day before I guess the airlines merged, and while we sat and fell asleep by the united ticket booth everyone else was down at the continental booth getting ready to fly out. By the time we realized the United booth wasn't opening it was too late yep we missed our freaking red eye flight! The raunchy lady at the counter told us to come back tomorrow to catch the 6:30 a.m. flight. Are you joking me? So we headed up to try to get some sleep in the truck well Treyson luckily was already asleep, Jaeden and Avery whined and fought for about 30 min until CJ said I'm done we will go drive around. So we left the parking lot had to pay for parking, and went to a gas station by the time we got there the other 2 kids were out. What a waste of money so we grabbed a bite to eat and headed back to the parking garage well we got a little sleep woke up at 5:0o and made sure we were at the ticket booth on time! Long story short we made the plane had some o.k. flights, the kids were pretty good but we always seemed to get split up. On one flight I started crying because CJ and Treyson were next to each other a few rows back Jaeden and Avery were by themselves, and a few rows back there I was and I couldn't see either of them without standing up. Not to mention some creepy old guy offered to switch someone so he could sit next to my other kids and he told me not to worry he would take care of them. He wouldn't switch me seats because he said he had a bad leg and had to be on the aisle seat. Well I was being watched over some nice lady sat down next to me right before we were ready to go she looked at me and asked what was wrong if I was separated from my family. Well I broke down in tears and told her my sob story her and the guys next to me offered to take my kids seat and let them come sit by me!! Thanks you to the two of those super nice people that gave up their seats for me to have my kids by me. That flight went well kids slept... Finally in Florida! YAY (rest of trip to come)

Girls weekend

This last weekend I got to take a girls weekend and go to the IBS (international beauty show) in Las Vegas. I went with my friend Jackie, her sister Jenny, and Jackie's two co-workers Kristie and Heather. It was so much fun I drove down so I went and picked everyone up around 12:30 on Saturday. We drove straight to the mall when we got to Vegas had a quick lunch and we were off shopping! This I was excited for because it is so much nicer to shop without kids. After going to every store we wanted to, and I had bought something from almost every store I had gone in we left to go to our hotel. We stayed at the Springhills Marriott it's a new hotel that hasn't even been open a year, and it was super nice. Some of the girls were off to swim for an hour, but I stayed in my room and tried on all my new clothes to make sure I liked them.

Once they were done we all got ready to go out to dinner. On the way down we had talked about going to Joe's crab shack. Well we asked the front desk where the closest one was he told us Caesars Palace so we headed there we walked up to a man that said they only take reservations. (What kind of Joe's is this) not to mention he was wearing a suit and almost everyone eating there was nicely dressed. I was planning on a big seafood dinner with the bib and all. I looked at the sign and it just said Joe's seafood yeah wrong place, but he said that he could get us in so we thought we would give it a try. The food was good but for 5 of us to eat the ticket was almost $300.00 wow next time I will look a little harder for the Joe's crab shack!
We then went back to the hotel to drop Jenny off and we headed to Treasure Island to watch Cirque Du Soleil Mystere. It was so awesome, I have never seen a Vegas show and this was definitely weird, but really good! two of the girls left from there and went back to the hotel, Jackie, Kristie, and I were off to play in Vegas a little longer. We drove down the strip, and people watched went to a couple of stores, and by that time it was 2:30 a.m. so we decided we were ready to head back to go to bed. Well I was starving again by this time so me and Jackie bought some munchies at the hotel lobby (hot pockets, candy bar, and water) we went up to our room to cook them, woke Jenny up doing it. Then we stayed up a little longer eating our food, and laughing at anything, and everything you know when you get that tired everything is so funny! I had so much fun, I haven't had a sleepover with Jackie since we were probably in high school.

We woke up bright and early to get ready for the hair show and go have breakfast in the hotel Jackie and I thought it would be a good idea to wear our pajamas down to breakfast, well we were the only ones out of about 30 people in our pj's it was a little awkward I thought. But oh well I knew I would never see these people again. We went to the hair show had an amazing time shopping there again for great deals, I left there with a few bags and boxes. I am so glad now that I went I was worried about leaving my husband and kids alone, but it was definitely a needed getaway! Thanks girls for letting me come and tag along, and thanks CJ for being Mr. mom for the weekend I love you so much and really had a great time lets do it again next year!! I didn't get a lot of pictures because my camera is bigger, and I didn't want to tote it around everywhere but these are the few I did get!

I'm a little late at posting this and I know I am a horrible mom, and I didn't get pictures of the fun day but I figure I better post it or I'll never remember it! So it started Saturday morning CJ woke up early to go to Albertsons to grab her some flowers and a balloon. (I had recieved flowers a few days before and she was commenting on how much she liked them, so we figured she would love them for her big day!) So she woke up first thing and saw the flowers and balloon sitting in her bedroom. She then must have woke Jaeden up because they both came in and said they thought the Easter bunny, or Santa had left them! :)

We then let her have her presents we had gotten for her. Just to let you know, her Grandma Somerville let her borrow The Wizard of Oz and ever since then, she has been obsessed! So I found the Wizard of Oz barbies on ebay they are from 1996, and I know a real barbie collector might think I'm crazy but I bought her Dorthy, Glinda, and the tin man and let her open them to play with. She loved them! CJ bought her a little princess paio set thing with table,chairs, and an umberella.
Her dad made her breakfast of her choice french toast, and bacon. Then we were off to do some running around for CJ. We let Avery pick what she wanted to have for dinner her choice was Texas Roadhouse. She wanted to sit on the saddle how funny I know and she loves steak! After dinner we went to Fiesta Fun and the kids got to play on the kiddie karts, we raced on the go carts, and they played in the arcade. It has been a long time since we have gone there and played so it was a lot of fun to just go there and hang out with the family. Avery had a great Birthday Thanks everyone for making it a good one she was so spoiled by all of her friends and family!! It makes me happy to know she has so many people that love and care about my little girl.

I wanted to post a few pictures of Avery I was so excited when I found out I was having this little girl. When she was born she was so perfect and beautiful I love having my little girl and even though there is a lot of trying times with her, I can't imagine my life without her. We love you so much Avery and hope you had a wonderful 5th Birthday!

Easter

For Easter we got to spend it with both families on Saturday we had an Easter egg hunt at my aunts house, it's kind of became a tradition! Thanks Ren and Mel!! The kids got a load of candy, it honestly looked like they had been Trick-Or-Treating. After that we had pizza and CJ had to head to the priesthood session that's why he was in his church clothes. When he got home we went over to CJ's parents and let the kids dye eggs. They had such a good time doing that. I didn't get pictures because I forgot my camera. CJ's uncle John and aunt Kristin and their kids were there so my kids got to play with them and they had such a good time!

On Sunday we went to CJ's parents for breakfast and had Tova's famous whole wheat waffles! They are soo yummy! The kids played with the cousins and then we were off to our house to have lunch there with my family. It was a fun, busy, quick weekend but we had a great time! Hope everyone else had a good Easter too!

This last weekend we went to Zion to go on a hike and get away from everything. Well on our way there we saw a sign advertising ostrich eggs for sale. CJ asked if he could buy one on the way back sure I told him whatever I figured it couldn't be that much for an egg so whatever. Well we had a blast in Zion we took our neighbors twin boys that are the same age as Jaeden and have blond hair like Jaeden, so while we were hiking with 5 kids 6 and under we were getting some funny stares. Finally some guy said, are they triplets? Are you crazy!?! Ha ha I guess I got to see how Lisa lives for just one afternoon. :) We left in time for a St Patricks parade they had in Springdale. We sat at the start of the parade where there were few people, so the kids got loads of candy. They had so much fun the parade added that much more to it. So we headed for home and CJ remembered about that egg he wanted, we pulled in just as a lady was leaving she asked if we wanted an egg we told her we wanted to buy one for CJ to eat. We grabbed our egg for $12 and were off for home again the whole way home CJ couldn't get over the size of this egg, Treyson wouldn't stop crying because he wanted to hold the egg, I think he thought it was a ball so every time he would see it he would scream! Well for Sunday breakfast they made green eggs and ham out of this HUGE egg CJ drilled the egg on both sides, blew out the inside can you believe how much stuff was in it? It filled up the whole Tupperware bowl. Sick I know so after it was hollowed we let Treyson play with the egg. He loved it! Until he threw it on the tile and broke the egg! Then it was back to screaming because I took the egg and threw it away. So this egg fed CJ, Jaeden, Avery, Treyson, and the neighbors. I myself would not try the thing no mater what everyone else said! But I guess it was a fun experience for the family!

Spring Break in Vegas

This spring break was pretty boring, we didn't do much because the weather was so crappy. So once the weather got a little better I decided I was going to take my kids down to Las Vegas to play for the day. Well CJ said there was no way he could take work off to go, so I asked my sister MaryJo if her and her kids wanted to head down with us. I can always count on MaryJo for a good quick road trip so off we went. Well we stopped in Mesquite for CJ to take Treyson since we didn't have enough seats for him, and I knew it would be crazy trying to take all the kids, and the baby. After we dropped him off we headed down I wanted to take the kids to FAO Schwartz we pulled into valet and got out for the parking guy to tell us it has been closed for about a month! WHAT! I love FAO Schwartz it is the funnest toy store. So we headed to the M&M factory on our way we stopped at the cupcakery for a little treat!

We then went to the M&M and Coke stores got a few pictures and then headed to the Excalibur for the kids to play in the arcade. I think the kids had more fun going on the tram, escalators, elevators, and moving side walks but overall I think it was an o.k. trip. Better than sitting at home watching TV all day. Thanks MaryJo for you and your kids coming down with us lets do it again. Next time with a little better planning, and maybe a little better driver! :)

So for about the last year I have been really interested in learning how to do the housewife, homemaking things. I was thinking of my dad dying so early, and it kind of scared me to think if anything happened to my mom I wouldn't have learned all the things I needed or wanted to know how to do. So I decided I would try hard to learn the things I love that my mom can do. So I started with baking bread, if any of you have had my moms bread you know what I mean. (CJ told my mom she couldn't die until I had learned that one) Well I can now make bread, so the second was to sew, I started easy with little pajamas and things like that. I have now made pj's, slippers, blankets, skirts, hemmed CJ's pants, and a few other projects. Well I decided I wanted to make Avery a skirt. I needed some knit material which I usually go "borrow" from my moms house but she isn't home right now so I went looking through our closets since it is just T-shirt material I found a shirt that CJ doesn't wear and decided to chop it up. I ended up making a skirt, leggings, and bow all out of that one shirt! I am so proud of myself and I did it with only a little help on the phone from my mom. Thanks mom for learning these talents so that you could pass them on to your children. I am really so impressed by the so many things my mom can do, and I hope that I can learn a few of these things from her!

Yesterday was Treyson's Birthday! I can't believe how fast that year flew by, I know that everyone always says that but really it went so fast I feel like I just had him! Treyson we love you so much, you have brought so much joy to our family!! I know I was so scared when I found out I was pregnant with you, I think I was almost disappointed to be having another baby I had set in my mind that our little family was complete with just my little boy and little girl. The second I met you I felt so guilty for ever thinking I didn't want you. You complete our family and we couldn't be any happier! Happy Birthday Treyson We Love You!

My Valentines weekend

Well we had a good time at Dumont sand dunes for Valentines weekend. Except the first day we got there no longer then an hour after we arrived one of the guys we were camping with went out for the first ride and rolled his buggy end over end like 5 times! This is what was left. Luckily, he wasn't hurt too bad and they were able to stay the rest the weekend.

My Kids got lots of riding in on their bikes they had such a good time playing int the dirt, and just being kids! Jaeden also got to take his training wheels off his dirt bike. He didn't really need his training wheels, we just kept them on so if he tipped over, the bike wouldn't smash him under it. I was so sad when CJ took the training wheels off, it just reminds me just how quickly my kids are growing up!

Anyways we had a great time and I am super excited to go to Glamis after Christmas to New Years this next year. We always have such great family time at the sand dunes.

CJ and I celebrated our 7 yr anniversary yesterday. On Saturday CJ's parents took the kiddos overnight for us so we could have a wonderful kid free time! We made a deal that I would spend next week at the Dumont sand dunes for Valentines with him, and his parents would keep the kids so we could have a good anniversary this week. So we dropped them off at about 1:00 after Tova got off work we started by heading off to the mall to do a little shopping. I bought me a new pair of pants, and we both bought new sweat shirts nothing too exciting I know but kid free shopping doesn't happen very often so we took advantage of it. Next I wanted to go test drive a new car. I love new cars and would trade mine in every 6 months if I could. We wanted to test drive the VW Toureg but they didn't have one until March. So we went and test drove a brand new 2010 Cadillac Escalade Super Nice it smelt like a freaking new house instead of new car. (The price tag could buy you a small house too!) We left from there and went to get some new garments since it's been forever since we have bought new ones that was our little present from each other. After that we headed over to eat at the Anasazi steak house. It was So good, we had a cheese fondue, steaks and the chocolate carmel dessert fondue. We were stuffed by the time we left there and decided to head to a movie since we had no kids to be home too. Before the movie started CJ wanted to buy me some new shoes, so we went back to the mall and looked for a new pair. I picked out all the cute high heeled shoes but he wanted me to buy a pair of flats. Well we didn't agree on a pair and I decided I didn't want to spend $100 on a pair of boots so we left to go to the movie. We went a watched Avatar it was SO good I really enjoyed it which surprised me because I figured it was going to be some geeky scifi flick. It wasn't at all I would have to say it is one of my new favorite movies! That was it for our fun anniversary it was just so nice to get to spend some good time with my husband alone it just doesn't happen that often Thanks so much to Jae and Tova for watching our kids It was really nice and they had a great time! CJ also changed his tradition after everyone giving him a hard time for spending so much on the dozens of roses he didn't do it this year he bought me a Tahitian pearl necklace and bracelet instead. When we went to Hawaii in 2007I saw my first Tahitian pearl necklace and fell in love with it but that one was $15,000 a little much for a necklace so CJ bought me one! (It was nowhere near that price) CJ I love you so much! and I'm so proud to call you my husband I'm so excited to spend my eternity with you Happy Anniversary!

Valentine Nightmare

So with the kids Valentines parties just around the corner I decided I had better get going on their cards or whatever we decided to do. I was smart and went shopping about a month ago so I could get the ones that we wanted I bought little bags for Avery to fill with candy, and TMNT cards for Jaeden well Tuesday rolled around and I was looking on line at Valentine ideas and saw these cute alligator Valentines. If any of you know my mom she pretty much engraved it in our heads that you can't skimp out on anything I think her life motto is go all out, or don't do it at all. So I went and picked her up to go copy 40 of these valentines, then the fun came I went to my moms house to get some help cutting all these papers out, glue, and put together. What a joke... Had I thought about all the work it was going to be I think I would have stuck with the cards. But we finished Jaedens today and they turned out so cute I have to say I'm glad I did them now! Thanks mom, Mckayle and Mel for all the help!

Daytona Beach

For my Flashback Friday picture today it is of Avery when we went to Florida in April of 2008. We were at Daytona beach just letting the kids play around this was one of my favorite pictures from that day. It was so funny because we try to go to Florida as often as we can and we would spend all this money on the theme parks and stuff that as parents we think our kids need to do to have a good time, but they always just loved to go play at the beach next time we will remember that, and save ourselves the time and money!

On Sunday we watched Ben and MaryJo's kids. So we decided we would take them up to Panguitch to check on our house, and let them play in the snow. If you can't tell we are not used to snow! The kids only lasted outside for maybe 10-15 minutes, except Kyler he stayed out the whole time. Since he was the only one to stay out CJ told him he could go sledding well we didn't have a sled so this is what they made. Thanks MaryJo for leaving your kids with us, we had such a great time with them!

Pledge of Allegiance

I was up late last night on the computer so I could scan a receipt in for one of our friends and email it to him. I have never done this so when I went to scan it in it said scan it on a memory device. I was to lazy to walk out to my car where I had left my camera so I dug through my drawers and found an sd card my friend gave me at Christmas. She had told me they had it forever from when I took pictures of them like 4 yrs ago while her husband was in Iraq. So I used it,but didn't even import the pictures or anything I did a little blog reading and at about midnight started thinking, I wonder what is on that card so I opened the pictures and this was the first thing I saw. I really was in tears when I saw this, Cj and I were just talking about this time in our life's the same friend that had my card taught Jaeden the pledge of allegiance, her husband is in the army so she said when her kids could talk they would teach them the pledge. I told CJ we didn't have this recorded, so I had to rip him out of bed and show him what I had found.

Flashback Friday

I know it's not quite Friday but I had time tonight, and who knows what tomorrow will bring? But my sister in law Melissa used to do this flashback Friday thing where she would post a picture of something from the past and post about it every Friday I thought where I have so many pictures I haven't posted about, it would be fun for me to do! So this first one is from Oct 2009 for Conference weekend we decided to head up to our Panguitch house to getaway, and take the kids fishing. We borrowed our neighbors boat and brought it up with us because we never catch anything when we would go to Panguitch Lake and fish off the shore.

It was so much fun! Well at least I thought. The baby wasn't cooperating very well, he was
crawling all over the boat or crying. So after about 10 min CJ had had it! But I told him I was not coming all the way up with that boat to turn around and be done. So we stuck it out, and it payed off. The baby finally fell asleep. So we put him under a little cover on the boat and continued fishing. Finally after about an hour of fishing in the freezing cold CJ caught our first fish on Panguitch Lake! Yeah, maybe it's because we decided to turn conference on and listen to the Saturday session and eat oreos and milk? Who knows... But we had a great time and finally caught a fish what more could we ask for?!?

Yes that's oreo all over Avery anybody that knows her knows she's my little pig!

Late Christmas Post

I wasn't going to post about Christmas because I was late but I decided after looking at the pictures I had I wanted to remember it, so what they hey better late than never I guess! This Christmas Eve we really didn't do much we spent the night finishing up neighbor gifts then we were off to visit papa Jae since it is his Birthday on Christmas Eve. We took his present over to him and visited with CJ's parents for a little while. Then we decided we had better get back so the kids could open pajamas and get to bed.
When we pulled in I told the kids to get ready so we could open one gift. Avery ran inside, When I walked in she was tearing open some random gift. I yelled what are doing? She said this is my gift I wanted to open. I said Avery you don't get to choose you open the one I give you. I guess next time I should specify.
So we opened our pajamas Grandma Barney gave us, the kids loved them. Then they got ready for bed so Santa would come. This year Santa decided to leave Christmas upstairs in our new bonus room/play room the kids didn't know this so when they woke up there was only a few presents under the tree CJ and I were sure we would wake up to some disappointed kids but to my surprise Avery came running in yelling, he came he really came! It really almost made me cry my kids were happy with a couple of books and two games that were under the tree! So we came out and told them those gifts were from us and we walked over to the stairs where Santa had left a note for the kids. They both ran upstairs and were shocked to see all the stuff he had really left them.

So we played with gifts and then my whole family came over for breakfast. I didn't get pictures but we had a good time, and a lot of good food! After they left we went and saw our friends the Adams and Roundy's and dropped them off a game then headed over to CJ's parents for Christmas with them and dinner for his dad's B-day! We got fun gifts there too which of course I forgot to take pictures of but at least I got some pictures of Christmas. And that is a quick wrap up of our Christmas 2009! Hope everyone else had a great one too!

My wonderful husband turned 29 yesterday, So Crazy! I have known CJ since he was 18 so it's so weird to celebrate each new year with him because I still picture him this teenager. Maybe it's because he still acts like a teenager, so I think next year will be a hard year for me I can't imagine being married to a 30 yr old! :0 I just wanted him to know how much I love him!

10 months

My baby is 10 months old already I can't believe how the time flew, a few things about my baby at 10 months.

- he was a suprise baby! I had 2 miscarriages before him and we said we were done and got rid of all our baby stuff!

- he is a horrible sleeper I guess he's like his dad and can live on no sleep whatsoever

- he has been walking for over a month now

- I have shaved his head twice to try to grow his hair in, but he is still pretty much bald. Except the old man ring around the sides!

- he never holds still!!

- he hates shoes

- he loves dogs and will do sign language for dog

- he can now stand up in the middle of the floor without holding on to things

- he is such a mom and dads boy

- he is starting to grow out of his dairy allergy (hopefully all the way soon)

- he has the cutest smile with the biggest cheeks I love them

It is so crazy how fast this time has gone I swear it really felt like I just had him! Treyson you are such a sweet boy and we are so happy to have you in our family and can't imagine life without you!

Movie Madness

So on Friday my mom decided she wanted to take the grand kids to the movies for a Christmas present. We loaded all the kids up and headed to the princess and the frog. For the most part the kids did really good I was shocked well except Treyson he was tired and hungry! After the movie my mom decided she was going to take the kids to Wendy's to get some dinner I don't know if she was feeling sick or what but we all loaded up and packed everyone into Wendy's. We have never done anything like this before I have to say it was really fun!

Day 1- crayon colored on newly painted wall, and a 2 yr old managing to turn my toe into a broken, swollen plum, Talent I tell you. Sleepless kids (At least they were excited to have 9 cousins sleeping over) and one dirty house! And that's what you get on the first day!

My Baby is walking!!! It is so crazy he is only 9 months old and he has just started taking off. It's really sad because he is my last, and he has never acted like a baby. He has always done things faster then we wanted him too! Free Pizza

So Avery got a certificate for a free pizza at pirate island pizza in preschool on Wed. So we bribed them the rest the week if they were good, we would take them. I have to say for the most part it worked, we took our good friend Laura Giles with us and had a great time! As for free pizza. I think we spent more in the arcade then we saved! I'm a sucker for arcades!!

So I finally did it! After months of my sister buggin me to start blogging here I am! After convincing this guy it was o.k. to have a blog, so Lisa I hope you enjoy... Now I need to take lots more pictures starting this I just realized I have nothing!
